When Vikings landed in enemy territory, they commenced great raids on their foes. We see Vikings celebrating after having plundered and set fire to a village. Their longships were faster than all other ships at that time, and this allowed them to attack swiftly before anyone on land could react. They used many different types of weapons and armor in their battles and they often enjoyed the company of animals on their journeys. Having plundered a large amount of gold and silver, these Vikings are ready to host a giant feast in celebration!
