New lightweight and simplified spur gear option for the Mini T, Mini B and Mini Drag cars and trucks.
Slipper eliminator direct mount spur gear for use on high traction conditions such as carpet and street racing. The spur gear also has wider teeth (4.5mm total) for increased durability with high powered motors.
100% machined delrin spur gear system that weighs only 2.7 grams! The stock parts are 4.3 grams.
Simply remove all of the stock slipper and spur gear parts (be careful not to lose the small steel pin in the top shaft) and then slide the Exotek spur onto the top shaft and steel pin. Lastly, tighten the stock m3 locknut onto the shaft (do not over tighten).
For easier access and clearance, you may want to grind off a bit of the plastic side rail in front of the spur gear.
